‘RHONJ’: Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita Make Up—For Now

Jacqueline Laurita on The Real Housewives of New Jersey (Bravo)

It just took a few tears and plastic cups of wine for Jacqueline and Teresa to kiss and make up on Sunday night’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” but the hug out was like putting a small chip of ice on a grossly swollen and sprained cankle—like the one Teresa managed to get when she went surfing.

While Tre kept claiming she was the victim (uhhh, what’s new?) and was “ambushed” by Jacqueline during their patio screamfest a few episodes back, the latter kept begging for more honesty in their relationship.

Earlier that day, Caroline warned Jacqueline that if she were to make up with Teresa, she had better get her to admit to her faults…but once Teresa closed the RV doors behind them, pulled out more of the Paterson, NJ, accent, and threatened to end their friendship for good, Jacqueline toppled over like Jell-O. And she even apologized.

When the two walked out of the RV seemingly resolved, Caroline quietly observed but refrained from getting involved.

“As sure as my name is Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline is gonna get hurt,” she told the cameras. “But I wish I could say something, but I won’t—because she’s gonna to have realize that herself. I can’t help her.”

Based on what we’ve seen from last season’s reunion (with Jacqueline’s no show, which was based on the drama from filming this season), how long do you think this harmony will last? And can anyone guess what would compel Teresa to allegedly start those rumors that Melissa and Jacqueline had stripper-licious pasts? Guess we’ll have to wait for Pole-Gate to unfold…and for Teresa and Jacqueline’s friendship to break down all over again.
