Jack Donaghy is getting his assistant back.

Maulik Pancholy, who was one of the stars of NBC’s sitcom “Whitney” this past season, is leaving the show and returning to his old stomping ground at “30 Rock,” according to Deadline.

Pancholy played Lily’s boyfriend Neal in show and his departure will be due to “creative changes” within the series, according to the report.

On “30 Rock,” he will now revive his role as Jack’s assistant Jonathan, which he played on a recurring basis through the end of Season 5. He will return in the show’s season premiere, which will be the beginning of the end as the season will mark the show’s last.
