Who needs a PR team when you’ve got Ryan Murphy‘s steady stream of pics and teases?
It also showed that a fan favorite is missing!
Dianna Agron, who plays Quinn, is not included in the massive group shot, further fueling the speculation that she is off the show next season. (Sharp-eyed fans will note that Jayma Mays (who plays Emma) is also absent.)
But Murphy says viewers shouldn’t read too much into it.
“Gleeks, please relax. Dianna is still on the show. We love her and have great plans for Quinn. #QuinnFabrayLives,” Murphy later Tweeted.
While Quinn is MIA, the shot does include several new cast members, including Dean Geyer (a possible new love interest for Rachel at NYADA), Jacob Artist (Puck’s little brother Jake), Becca Tobin (new Cheerio Kitty) and Melissa Benoist (who plays Marley).
Murphy also unveiled a new poster featuring guest star Kate Hudson and Lea Michele with a tag line that reads, “Sometimes the Big Apple Bites.” A few weeks ago he teased the first image of Hudson on set — check out the sexy shot here — where she’s playing Rachel’s tart-tongued dance teacher.
Earlier this week, Murphy also released on the Internet a first look at another high profile guest star, “Sex and the City” star Sarah Jessica Parker — check out the photo and learn more about her role here.
“Glee’s” fourth-season premiere airs on Thursday, September 13 at 9/8c on Fox.
