Kristin Chenoweth is going “Live.”
The Emmy-winning actress, who recently bowed out of a recurring role on “The Good Wife” due to injuries sustained on set, will co-host the Season 2 premiere of “Anderson Live” with Anderson Cooper on Monday, Sept. 20.
The daily talk show formerly known as “Anderson” has been revamped for Season 2. In addition to the new title, set, and live format, “Anderson Live” will feature a rotating roster of guest co-hosts. In addition to Chenoweth the new season will feature guest go-hosts Goldie Hawn, Kelly Osbourne, Cyndi Lauper, Howie Mandel, Erin Andrews, D.L. Hughley and Kellie Pickler.
“We’ve got a lot of fun, great things planned for the new season. I am really excited to be joined by daily co-hosts and look forward to switching to a live format, which allows us more freedom to cover topical issues as well as connect more with the viewer at home,” Cooper revealed in a statement.
Guests this season will include Richard Gere, Beyonce, Jake Gyllenhaal, Claire Danes, Meg Ryan, Ben Affleck, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Kerry Washington, Kelsey Grammer, Carol Burnett and Stephen Colbert.
