A former participant of a reality series has been charged with prostitution.
20-year-old Alicia Guastaferro of Williamsville, New York appeared on the ABC series “Wife Swap” with her parents in 2008 and 2010, but she is now hoping to swap places with just about anyone else. Guastaferro was arrested on Monday when police caught the one-time reality star in a car with a 54-year-old defense attorney and arrested her, according to RadarOnline.com. She has now been charged with prostitution, possession of a controlled substance and criminal impersonation.
She allegedly told officers that her alleged client was paying her between $500 and $700 per session, according to the report.
Guastaferro drew attention in 2010 after filing a $100 million lawsuit against ABC, stating that they poorly represented her on the show, although nothing has come of the case so far. She claims that she was humiliated after being seen having her legs spray-tanned by her father, allowing her mother to do her homework in her stead and getting presents every day of the year under a Christmas tree.
