After suffering an on-set injury that cut her story line short, Kristin Chenoweth is back in front of the cameras on “The Good Wife.”

Chenoweth returned to the set on Friday, tweeting to her followers that “I was able to go back a shoot a short scene with Alan Cumming on The Good Wife — #blessed.”

“Good Wife” co-star Josh Charles is directing Chenoweth’s comeback episode, and also announced her return, stating “Having @KChenoweth back with us on set today was absolutely the highlight of my day. Her talent, charm and warmth was inspiring.”

Chenoweth was cast as a political reporter on the show, but was hit in the head by a piece of scaffolding while shooting an outdoor scene with Charles.
