After announcing that President Obama will play host to David Letterman as one of the recipients of the Kennedy Center Honors awards earlier this week, Letterman is already returning the favor.

Obama is set to tape his seventh appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman” next Tuesday, and his second since becoming President of the United States, although his wife did make her third appearance in a year’s time in recent weeks to deliver the daily “Top Ten” list.

Obama’s return will also take place the same day that he is set to join a campaign fundraiser with pop stars Beyonce and Jay Z.

Rival Mitt Romney will also be a guest on a national talk show that day, although not together of course. He will instead appear on “Live! with Kelly and Michael.”
