So many stars, so much talent…the toughest thing about the long-awaited “Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars” season is figuring out just who the heck to root for.

As “the best of the best” get set to face off on the dance floor in the most challengiong season of “DWTS” ever, many of them are admitting they’re “nervous.”

But Season 3 champs Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke reminded us why they were fan favorites when they boogied their way to the win way back in 2006 when they dropped by “The View” last week.

“It’s been six long years” since former Dallas Cowboys Emmitt Smith has been on the “DWTS” dance floor, and he admits he’s less flexible these days, but it won’t affect his determination.

“At the end of the day, competition is competition,” Emmitt says, “and I’m not defending a title…I’m going after another title.”

The athletes often have the edge on “DWTS” due to their focus and discipline, but Emmitt points out that the first time he was on the show, “the bar was lower. Now, it’s crazy.”

“The competition is very stiff and the expectation is pretty high,” the former NFL star adds. “We’re excited to get back out there and perform.”

One things that’s also going to be harder than ever? The judges.

“The judges are going to be harder to please this time around,” said Cheryl, as Emmitt jokingly referred to them as “the three stooges.

“It’s going to be interesting… the level of the choreography will be harder too, everything will be harder,” she added.

Season 15 of “DWTS” — the All-Stars edition — premieres Monday, Sept. 24 at 8/7c on ABC.
