Two new champs danced their way to the big win on Tuesday night’s live two-hour season finale of “So You Think You Can Dance.”

In a first for the show, Season 9 crowned both a King and Queen of the dance floor, naming a male winner and a female winner.

Annnnnnnd….”America’s favorite dancers” are: Eliana Gerard and Chehon Wespi-Tschopp!

Both dancers specialize in ballet and awesomeness, so there shouldn’t be too much quibbling about whether America got it right. They eeked out wins over the equally smashing moves of the runners-up, with Eliana, 21, beating Jazz dancer Tiffany Maher and Chehon, 23, besting fan favorite Cyrus “Glitch” Spencer.

During the two-hour spectacle, the Top 20 reunited for the show’s opening number, the judges reminisced about their favorite dances of the season, and there also was an appearance by singer-of-the-moment Carly Rae Jepsen, who performed her new single “This Kiss.”
