When “Once Upon a Time” returns for a second season on Sunday, Sept. 30 Storybrooke will be a little more magical, thanks to Emma’s unlocking of the curse and Mr. Gold’s purple smoke screen of love in the Season 1 finale.
Of course with the revelation that the curse was real, many more questions are raised – especially for the logical-minded Emma (Jennifer Morrison), who has to come to grips with the fact that she was parented by fairy tale characters.
Another burning question remaining is what will become of Regina (Lana Parrilla), now that everyone knows her true identity as the Evil Queen. Will she be punished for her misdeeds? Will her magical powers even work in Storybrooke? ABC has released several new sneak peek videos from the Season 2 premiere that shed some light on what fate awaits Regina and the other inhabitants of Storybrooke.
Charming (Josh Dallas) and Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) try to start a dialog with their newly-discovered daughter. Emma, as expected, needs some time – and a bottle of wine – to digest this startling information:
Belle (Emilie de Ravin) reveals the shocking truth of where Regina’s kept her hidden for the last twenty-eight years. Mr. Gold/Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle) is unsurprisingly not amused:
A mob forms around Regina’s house. Can she stave them off? Or will her plan backfire?:
Spoiler alert: It backfires. How ’bout them apples, Regina?:
The second season premiere of “Once Upon a Time” airs on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 8/7c on ABC.
