Last season’s “Dancing with the Stars” winner Peta Murgatroyd revealed she and real-life boyfriend and costar Maks Chmerkovskiy have a dream of dance domination on this season’s “All-Stars” edition.
“We would love to be in the finals together with [his brother] Val,” Peta told reporters on Tuesday night with celebrity partner Gilles Marini by her side. “That would an incredible final with the three of us in there. It would be so much fun.”
Peta and Maks (who is paired with Kirstie Alley), came out publicly as a romantic couple this summer. While Peta won “DWTS” Season 14 with football player Donald Driver, Maks has never taken home the trophy. Meanwhile, his dancer brother Val Chmerkovskiy finally looks like he has a partner with a shot at winning in Season 1 champ Kelly Monaco.
It’s early yet, but Gilles is in favor of a Chmerkovskiy/Murgatroyd showdown. “I would not care who wins or lose[s]. I swear to God,” he said.

Meanwhile, although Peta still doesn’t want to talk too much about her relationship with Maks, she did tell reporters, “He’s a big teddy bear.”
And partner Gilles helped her out by elaborating: “He’s a good man. He comes and helps [in rehearsal] and he’s sweet. He’s got his ways and people don’t understand some times that oh, whatever it is, and when you get to know him, he’s amazing,” Gilles said.
