Miley Cyrus Mulling a Return to TV in ‘Bonnie & Clyde’

Miley Cyrus is in the mood for another dose of television.

The one-time “Hannah Montana” star, who recently appeared on an episode of “Two and a Half Men,” is reportedly in discussions to play one of the lead roles in the upcoming Lifetime/History miniseries “Bonnie & Clyde.” The special will tell the story of the famed outlaws and run on both networks, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The move to recreate famed historical figures with pop culture movers and shakers continues to gain momentum on cable networks. History Channel miniseries “Hatfield & McCoys” won an Emmy for Kevin Costner, and later this year Lifetime will feature a biography of Elizabeth Taylor starring Lindsay Lohan.
