An abnormally hot guest star is coming to “The New Normal.”

White Collar” hunk Matt Bomer is guest starring in an upcoming episode of the NBC sitcom, which was recently picked up for a full season.

He’ll play Bryan’s (Andrew Rannells) ex-boyfriend, who hopefully won’t disrupt the lives of the newly engaged Bryan and David (Justin Bartha).

Series creator Ryan Murphy Tweeted the casting news Wednesday:

“Guess who’s coming on The New Normal as Bryan’s sexy ex-boyfriend? The one and only Matt Bomer!!!”

It looks like when Murphy finds an actor he likes, he sticks with them, because Bomer is becoming a regular on Ryan’s roster. Bomer previously guest starred on another Murphy series last season when he played Blaine’s older brother Cooper on “Glee,” and he’s also costarring in the upcoming film, “The Normal Heart,” directed by Murphy.

“The New Normal” airs Tuesdays at 9:30/8:30c on NBC.
