The new television season has another casualty, and the poor show hadn’t even aired yet!
NBC has decided to ax mid-season comedy series “Next Caller,” according to Deadline.com. The series starred Dane Cook and centered around a trashy satellite radio DJ who is forced to work on-air with a peppy NPR feminist, the report said. Collette Wolfe, Jeffrey Tambor, Joy Osmanski and Wolé Parks were set to co-star in the show.
So what happened? Apparently, with four episodes under its belt, the network decided that the show was not heading in the direction NBC had expected.
Since episodes will never make it to air, here probably the only glimpse of the show you’ll be able to get…
