No more monkeying around at NBC.
The Whitney Cummings comedy had been slated to air on Friday nights along with “Community,” so this scheduling move is good news for Whitney, bad news for the monkey.
Season 2 of “Whitney” will return on Wednesday, November 14 at 8/7c on NBC. “Animal Practice,” which drew a bottom-barrel 1.0 rating in the adults 18-49 demo for its most recent airing, will continue to air in its time slot until “Whitney” debuts, according to Broadcasting & Cable.
That makes “Animal Practice” the second casualty of the new fall TV season.
CBS was the first network to cancel a new fall show when they axed the Friday night legal drama “Made in Jersey” last Wednesday.
Meanwhile, we’re still wondering why Fox hasn’t pulled the trigger on its miserable Monday night failure “The Mob Doctor.”
