After deciding to move forward with full season orders of rookie series “Nashville” and “The Neighbors,” ABC has now delivered the bad news to two other new shows.
The network has decided to cancel freshman dramas “Last Resort” and “666 Park Ave.,” according to Deadline. ABC will now let the two series play out their original 13-episode orders. In their most recent outings, both “Last Resort” and “666 Park Ave” drew a low 1.2 rating in the key adults 18-49 demographic, according to Nielsen.
ABC didn’t say what will end up replacing the two series after they finish their runs.
Other new series to be given the ax by the broadcast networks this season include “Partners,” which got cut by CBS earlier in the day, NBC’s “Animal Practice,” and CBS drama “Made in Jersey.”
