Lindsay Lohan Talks Walters Snub, Secret Half-Sister on ‘Tonight Show’

Sounding raspier than ever and fidgeting uncomfortably, Lindsay Lohan made her guest appearance Tuesday night on “The Tonight Show” to promote her Lifetime movie “Liz & Dick.”

The 26-year-old actress is perfecting the art of deflection, here by distracting from the interview by wearing a hideous, ill-fitting, bizarrely cut black dress — that displayed some very unsightly saggy side-boob action when she walked out on the stage — and has everyone talking this morning.

Lindsay’s old trick of getting buzz over what she’s wearing (like dressing up in slinky designer dresses for her court dates) instead of what she’s doing or saying was once again in effect.

The late-night show also opened with a send-up of Lohan’s diva reputation.

In the bit, an exasperated producer backstage bemoans to Jay that tonight’s guest is demanding “two bodyguards, only blue M&Ms, and five lobster dinners?! What a diva we have on the show tonight!”

At that moment, a smiling Lohan comes out of her dressing room saying sweetly, “Hi Jay, everyone’s so nice here.”

Leno then bypasses her and enters dressing room #2 to greet the night’s other guest, where we find straight-laced newsman David Gregory sitting in front of five lobsters demanding some more melted butter.

Anyway, in case you missed it, here’s the Lo-down on Lohan’s “Tonight Show” interview with Jay Leno, who predictably took it easy on the troubled actress.

On the Barbara Walters “20/20” Interview Debacle:

“It’s just, the timing wasn’t right, right now,” Lindsay lamely answered when asked about cancelling on Walters, while appearing on several other programs instead. “I love her, and I’m a big fan of Barbara Walters. I met her when I was very young, and when it’s right, she knows she’ll be the first person I sit down with,” Lohan said.

Oh, and forget about that story about Walters being “disappointed” with Lohan.

“It’s all good,” Lindsay insists. “I spoke with the people she works with and everything.”

On Last Week’s Bombshell Revelation That She Has a Half-Sister:

“I guess I could give her one word of advice: Good luck with my dad.”

Leno also brought up Lohan’s ever-presence in the tabloids, although he pointed out silly ones, like stories about her being pregnant (she’s not) and adopting Honey Boo Boo (thank God, she’s not).

The former child star also said she doesn’t regret growing up in the spotlight or all the trappings of being a former child star. In fact, Lohan even told Leno that she’s “glad” she didn’t go to college.

The chit chat then turned to La Lohan’s portrayal of La Liz — which has been shredded by the criticsGet More on That in the Clip Below.
