UPDATE: “America’s Next Top Model” judge Rob Evans, who’s been wanted by police on a felony assault charge since last month, turned himself in to authorities the day before Thanksgiving, according to TMZ.

Evans, who claims he was unaware that there was a warrant out for his arrest until recently, turned himself in to the Beverly Hills Police Department Wednesday morning on charges stemming from a fierce fist fight last winter. He was released 25 minutes later after posting $60,000 bail, TMZ says. No court date has been set at this time.

The model and former boxer is accused of beating up another man so badly that he ended up in the hospital after the Beverly Hills brawl in March. Details surrounding the altercation are unclear, but Evans reportedly insists his punches were made in self-defense.

The hunt is on for the new judge from “America’s Next Top Model,” who’s in trouble with the law.

Rob Evans is wanted by police for felony assault with a deadly weapon, stemming from a fight that took place in Beverly Hills back in March, TMZ reports.

There are few details available about the specifics of the altercation, other than Evans, 24, allegedly beat up another man so brutally that the victim was hospitalized with “serious injuries.”

Evans, a male model and former boxer, initially cooperated with police when an arrest warrant was issued soon after the assault. But he reportedly stopped communication with law enforcement in recent weeks, leading the Beverly Hills Police Dept. to now consider him a fugitive, says TMZ.

“Top Model” boss Tyra Banks recently dismissed rumors that she is dating Evans, who joined her show’s judges’ panel for the new season. Cycle 20 of “ANTM” will air next summer and features the introduction of male models to the mix.
