Can’t Kim Richards catch a break? All of her hopes for a “magical” Ojai retreat were shattered in this week’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” when her reconciliation with Brandi Glanville was plagued with tears and interrupted Adrienne Maloof’s insensitive reaction to her breakdown at the dinner table.
In Monday’s episode, more drama unfolds when Brandi gets a call from her book agent informing her that she has a deal. Taylor Armstrong, enraged by the apparent hypocrisy of the situation given Brandi’s comments about own book on last season’s reunion, cannot hide her feelings about her “arch nemesis.” The tension quickly escalates, as Taylor creates a not-so-subtle scene by breathing deeply and meditating upon hearing the news. “It’s hard for women to be happy for other women, I guess,” Brandi goads. “Just say congratulations.”
Quick to come to Taylor’s defense, Kyle Richards jumps in, countering, “no offense Brandi, but you were the first one to attack her for doing a book.” Taylor derisively interjects, “It’s interesting to me that you wrote a book about your ex-husband leaving you. I think that’s fascinating.” Yolanda Foster the outsider tries her best to diffuse the rising tide of rage, but it’s no use — Mount Taylor is about to blow and unleash an Oklahoma-style hailstorm of fury onto Brandi, embarrassing herself and everyone else in the process. Take a look at a sneak peek of the blow-up below:
