Would-be “X Factor” judge Cheryl Cole is suing producers for Breach of Contract, claiming she is owed more that $2.3 million, according to Deadline.
Cole, who has seved as a judge on the U.K. version of the show, was once tapped to help anchor the US version. However, she was removed before the show even aired, and was replaced by Nicole Scherzinger (who is now gone as well). Now Cole states that her contract mandates that she receive money for the show whether she appeared on it or not. While she was handed a cool $1.8 million from the first season, she now wanted additional monies from the second season. On top of that, the singer is looking for “$300,000 in damages for wardrobe allowance, a stylist allowance, hotel/apartment in LA allowance and a $2,500 per month living allowance from season one that she says she was entitled to,” according to the report.
Of course, the second season of the show is now nearing its finale with Britney Spears and Demi Lovato in the judge’s chairs.
