Sunday’s penultimate episode of “Homeland” reintroduces a long lost player from Season 1: Larry the Lie Detector Guy! Larry, how we’ve missed you and your sad, judging eyes.
Saul, who in last Sunday’s episode was taken “downstairs” (or was it upstairs?) for questioning at the request of Estes, is once again forced to endure the humiliation of another polygraph test.
But this time he might not get off as easily as the first time he was suspected of being a mole. That’s because of the terrifying, never-before-seen Suit who appears at the door to conduct the interview.
Uh-oh, Saul. Now would probably be a good time to call your lawyer.
Watch a sneak peek of Saul’s polygraph test below:

Meanwhile, in Carrie-land, the hunt for Abu Nazir appears to have hit a snag. It seems that Carrie’s unarmed and injured one-woman attempt to get eyes on Nazir, or kill Nazir, or whatever futile thing she was attempting at the end of last week’s episode, was unsuccessful. The ex-military, FBI and CIA men on the ground have lost Nazir, too. (Is anyone good at their jobs around here?) So where did he go? Was someone helping him? Was it that sneaky “soldier” Peter Quinn? Tune in Sunday at 9/8c on Showtime to find out.
