Former “Felicity” fave Scott Speedman made his return to television this season following a slate of movies that included the “Underworld” franchise. Now starring on ABC series “Last Resort” the one-time teen idol recently spoke with Playboy about his time on the series and what it would take for him to take part in a “Felicity” reunion.
The actor admits that his popularity from the show on The WB made him feel uncomfortable.
“That show didn’t get massive ratings, but the fans we had were rabid,” he told the magazine. “It makes you wonder what guys like Johnny Depp and Robert Pattinson go through. I never got near their level, but I was close enough to get my feet wet, to sort of peek around the corner, see the hysteria and say, ‘No, thank you.’”
Would he ever do a reunion? The answer is yes, although the special might be different than people were expecting.
“People want a reunion,” he said. “I joke that I’d totally do it if it’s years later and my character, Ben, weighs 500 pounds. He’s a shut-in, and they’re bringing paramedics and pulleys to get him out of bed.”
Although “Last Resort” is being cancelled by the network, the remaining episodes will air on Thursdays at 8 p.m.
