After making monster sitcoms with the likes of “Two and a Half Men” and “The Big Bang Theory,” producer Chuck Lorre now has his eyes on “Mom.”

Lorre’s newest television sitcom has cast Anna Faris to play the lead role, according to TVLine, where she will play a newly sober single mom fresh out of rehab who returns home to her family in Napa Valley. The series is being developed for CBS.

Although Faris is known for the “Scary Movie” franchise, she also has some TV credits as well, with stints on the likes of “Entourage” and “Friends.”

As for Lorre, the series could mark his fourth series on CBS, joining “Men,” “Theory” as well as “Mike & Molly.”
