Heather Locklear is joining the cast of TNT’s lawyer drama “Franklin & Bash” as a series regular, Entertainment Weekly reports.

The “Melrose Place” alum will star in Season 3 as a new partner at the firm where Jared Franklin (Breckin Meyer) and Peter Bash (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) work.

Her character’s name is Rachel King and she’s described as “a stunning trial lawyer, with stiletto heels and clothes tailored within an inch of their life.”

Locklear’s addition to the series follows last year’s departure of Garcelle Beauvais, who played a senior partner at the firm for the first two seasons.

This is the first series regular role for Locklear, 51, since 2004’s “LAX.” Since then, she revived her character Amanda Woodward for CW’s short-lived “Melrose Place” remake in 2009 and guest starred in TV Land’s “Hot in Cleveland.”
