After performing on “Saturday Night Live” earlier this season with Maroon 5, Adam Levine is getting a solo shot at hosting this weekend with musical guest Kendrick Lamar. NBC has just released several promising new promos of Levine and Bobby Moynihan parodying “The Voice” with a couple of homespun (literally and figuratively) chairs. Levine, who recently starred in “American Horror Story: Asylum,” feels like a natural fit for the gig. But can Saturday’s episode earn him a spot in the Justin Timberlake-Bruno Mars “SNL” musician crossover hall of fame? Tune in on Saturday night to find out. DVR the next episode of “SNL.”
