Matt Damon ‘Kidnaps’ Jimmy Kimmel

Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon (ABC)

Matt Damon has pulled a “Talented Mr. Ripley” on Jimmy Kimmel. The Oscar winner has “kidnapped” Kimmel prior to his scheduled appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” tonight.

The cause of the prank dates back to 2003, when Kimmel began his late night tradition of “bumping” Damon from his show, explaining that he’d run out of time for the A-lister. Since then, the two have mercilessly taunted each other.

On Wednesday, Kimmel teased his nemesis.”God help Damon if he dare show his stupid face,” he cautioned. “Words hurt, Jimmy,” Damon responded. “But not as much as a tire iron. I’m coming for you.”

And now it appears he has come. According to an entirely fabricated ABC press release, Damon has decided to take matters into his own hands. On Thursday morning he arrived at the JKL studios and took Kimmel hostage. He even released a video of the heinous crime.

“Is there a new host in town? His initials are M.D,” Damon proclaims as he stands by a tied up Kimmel. “That’s right.  The doctor is in.”

How will this all play out on air? Hilariously is our guess. Tune in to “Jimmy Kimmel Live” tonight at 11:35/10:35c on ABC to see the results.
