Two new faces are headed to Miami to help set up the end game of “Dexter.”

British actress Charlotte Rampling joins the cast for Season 8 playing Dr. Evelyn Vogel, “a psychiatrist that specializes in working with young psychopaths in unorthodox ways”

Sean Patrick Flanery (“The Boondock Saints,” “The Young and the Restless”) will appear as an ex-cop named Jacob Elroy who’s now the owner of a Miami private investigation company.

Both actors will be featured as “major recurring characters.”

The eighth, and potentially final season, of “Dexter” will premiere earlier than usual, debuting on June 30.

Last month, Showtime Entertainment President David Nevins avoided confirming that the upcoming season will be the serial killer drama’s last, as has been widely speculated, even by the show’s producers, but he did tell reporters, “There is an endgame in place.” Nevins expects to make an announcement about “Dexter’s” fate before the new season premieres this summer.
