‘My Strange Addiction’ Returns with Woman Who Eats Cat Fur – Video

Lisa on TLC's "My Strange Addiction" (TLC)

There are crazy cat ladies and then there’s Lisa, a 43-year-old Detroit resident who is addicted to eating her cat’s fur.

Lisa’s preferred hairball delivery system is via manual grooming, meaning she likes to lick the fur directly off of the cat herself. (When that’s not an option she simply picks up stray fur from around her apartment and, bon appetite, down it goes.)

Lisa says chewing and swallowing the hair, which apparently tastes like “cotton balls,” helps her unwind and bond with her furry friend. Unfortunately, Lisa’s habit, which will be featured on the Feb. 13 premiere of TLC’s “My Strange Addiction,” has gotten out of hand. She cannot go two hours without a fix and is now eating three quarter-sized hairballs per day.  Will she be able to kick her hair-eating habit? Tune in to the fourth season premiere of “My Strange Addiction” on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 10/9c on TLC to find out.
