Ron Weasley is becoming a super hero.
Rupert Grint, who gained worldwide fame as the wizard/student Ron Weasley in the “Harry Potter” film franchise, has been cast to star in a new CBS comedy pilot called “Super Clyde,” according to Deadline. The series will feature Grint in the lead role as a mild-mannered fast food worker, Clyde, who is obsessed with comic books and decides to become a super hero. When Clyde inherits a $100,000 a month inheritance, he decides that the cash will become his secret super power and opts to use it for the good of the world.
Since leaving the world of Hogwarts, Grint has also helped voice an episode of “American Dad.”
