Life as a “Real Housewife” isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast member Adrienne Maloof has allegedly informed producers that she wants to leave the show and doesn’t intend to come back next season, reports TMZ.

The much-maligned Maloof credits the Bravo show as being the source of all her troubles, claiming it “ruined” her family and personal life.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if she did want out; Maloof has been at war both on-screen and off with several cast members (including Brandi Glanville, Lisa VanderPump and Taylor Armstrong), not to mention her now ex-husband, Dr. Paul Nassif. The couple’s divorce — and the shocking abuse allegations — hit while filming the third season of the show.

But is Maloof actually getting the hoof?

The TMZ story is quick to point out that their sources claim Adrienne isn’t voicing her desires to quit due to money, co-star meltdowns or marriage woes. They posit she may be making a preemptive strike because it’s been rumored that both Maloof and Taylor Armstrong are on “the chopping block” and may be fired from the show.

Multiple reports that a cast shake-up is in the works have been circulating for weeks. Producers are said to be on the hunt for a few new faces to freshen up the “Housewives” cast, with Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster and former “Extra” host Dayna Devon mentioned in the TMZ story as being under consideration.

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo.
