An accident on the set of the CBS procedural “NCIS: Los Angeles” has left a cameraman seriously injured, Deadline reports.

The incident occurred last night when a steadicam operator became pinned against something and was rushed to the hospital. He is currently in the hospital. No other details about his injuries were specified.

Production was shut down immediately but reportedly resumed today.

The show, which stars LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell, was filming a pivotal episode for this season, the one that is serving as the backdoor pilot for the upcoming “NCIS: LA” spinoff starring John Corbett and Kim Raver.

This marks the third serious accident on the set of a television series since January, as the Deadline story notes. A stuntman suffered a head injury while filming an episode of ABC’s “Castle” in January, while two weeks ago, three reality TV crew members were killed when their helicopter crashed while filming a Discovery reality series.
