Following a lengthy Oscars telecast Sunday night, Jimmy Kimmel provided a welcomed breath of fresh, funny air with his 8th annual “Jimmy Kimmel Live After the Oscars” special.
The hour-long episode combined a zany mix of wacky star-studded sketches (the upcoming “Life of Pi” sequel, “Life of Psy,” and an opening bit with “Hoarder” Seth MacFarlane); a sit-down interview with the charismatic “White House Down” co-stars Jamie Foxx and Channing Tatum; and of course, the much anticipated sequel to last year’s “Movie: The Movie:” “Movie: The Movie 2V,” a phony film about a “sexpocalypse” so terrifying that not even Madame President Oprah Winfrey could stop it. Below, check out the best highlights from Kimmel’s post-Oscars show:
Kimmel opened the show with a sketch featuring Oscars host Seth MacFarlane like you’ve never seen him before: as a hoarder. As it turns out, the “Family Guy” creator also has a thing for Taylor Lautner’s fingers, which he chopped off and used as a good luck charm:

If you enjoyed Ang Lee’s “Life of Pi,” then you’re sure to love the Oscar-winning film’s sequel, “Life of Psy,” starring the Korean pop singer as a shipwreck survivor trapped alone on a lifeboat with a tiger and a boombox that only plays one song (you know the one):

With the success of last year’s “Movie: the Movie,” the only “reasonable thing you can do,” Kimmel said, was “cheapen it with a sequel.” Although “Movie: The Movie: 2V” was sorely lacking in the Robot Lawyer Tom Hanks and Centaur Senator Gary Oldman department, the fake film trailer delivered a bevy of celebs. Ostensibly plotted around the destruction of earth by teams of sexy vampires, sexy mummies, sexy zombies, and a sexy leprechaun played Topher Grace, the movie boasted outrageous cameos by Oprah Winfrey, Jessica Chastain Jude Law, Rachel Weisz, Gerard Butler, Bryan Cranston, John Krasinski, Kerry Washington, Bradley Cooper, Jason Schwartzman, Bruno Mars, Matt Damon, Salma Hayek, Amanda Seyfried, Channing Tatum, Samuel Jackson and the voice of Chris Rock. By the way, whole film was based on the true story of a tweet by Gary Busey and the best-selling board game Jenga:

And because the only thing that can follow a fake movie trailer of such mega star wattage is Channing Tatum giving a lap dance, the “Magic Mike” star closed out the show by grinding on the piano while Jamie Foxx serenaded him with a tune about the sexiness of his name.
