After only two episodes, The CW’s new midseason entry “Cult” is being shifted to Fridays.

The series, which stars Matt Davis of “The Vampire Diaries,” has been running on Tuesday nights, behind “Hart of Dixie.” However starting March 8, the network will shift over to Friday at 9pm, following “Nikita,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. “Cult” drew less than 900,000 viewers when it launched.

The series follows a reporter and a production assistant who investigate copycat crimes from a fictional show, also called “Cult.”

Tuesday nights will now be filled by encore presentations of series such as “Beauty and the Beast,” starting march 5.
