Good news for fans of “American Horror Story.”
Frances Conroy, who was a pillar of the first season of “American Horror Story” but had a more smaller role in “Asylum” cycle of the show, is ramping up her game once again and will appear in about 10 episodes of the upcoming season of the FX series.
Fans recently found out that the series will feature witches, and now Conroy, in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight,” says that the show will now take place in The Big Easy, aka New Orleans.
‘ll be doing about 10 of the 13 episodes, but beyond that, we don’t know anything yet,” she said in the interview. “I’m waiting to see what’s written to see who I’ll be playing. I haven’t seen any scripts yet, so all I know is that it’s going to be in New Orleans and who will be involved. Beyond that, it’s a matter of waiting for the wonderful writers to create the next world for us to inhabit.”
She also notes that she loves working for series creator Ryan Murphy, noting that he is able to create roles that are perfect for his actors.
“I think Ryan has a very keen eye and he’s always studying the people who are working with him,” she adds. “He just senses things about you and will write something for you that’s just fantastic and you totally didn’t anticipate.”
