Sitcom greats Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman are no longer separated.
That’s the happy news being reported by People magazine — here — about the couple who have been married for 31 years.
DeVito, 68, and Perlman, 64, were one of Hollywood’s favorite, and most enduring, couples until they separated in October 2013.
No reasons were ever made public for the separation, but whatever the reasons were, the two have apparently worked on their problems to the point where they have agreed to reconcile.
Although the People story, posted late Friday on the magazine’s Web site, kind of makes it official, the two have been out and about together in Hollywood since at least last month.
The two are among the nation’s most beloved TV comedy stars. Before becoming a movie star, DeVito starred in the storied sitcom “Taxi,” while Perlman was starring as wisecracking Carla on another show that was even more legendary, “Cheers” on NBC.
DeVito is now seen in the hipster sitcom “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” on FX.
