19 is not enough?

The Duggar family, stars of the TLC series “19 Kids and Counting,” may not be done counting.

The perpetually multiplying clan reveals they are considering adopting a child.

“We are open to the idea of adoption,” Michelle, 45, tells People magazine. “We are praying about it, and we will see what God has in store. Love for children has been placed on our hearts.”

Michelle and Jim Bob went through a heartbreaking miscarriage in 2011 with their last pregnancy, but that hasn’t deterred them from the idea of expanding their family.

“We are open to whatever is in store,” Michelle adds. “It doesn’t really matter whether I would have another child or we would adopt, but we want to approach it with an open heart.”

And the couple’s 19 kids are all for it, according to their mother. “The kids are definitely pushing towards wanting us to open our home up to another child or more,” Michelle also says in the People article. “They see how much we have been blessed with and how little so many children have and they want to share. We tell our children that would have to be something that is God’s will for our family, and we will see if it is. Our children love children, and we all do.”

Either way, the Duggars do have another baby on the way already … a grandbaby. Two weeks ago, the Duggars’ son Josh and his wife Anna announced they are expecting their third child together.

The “19 Kids and Counting” special “The Duggars Do Asia” has been airing Tuesdays at 9/8c on TLC.
