The Walking Dead” is walking off with another record-setting episode.

Sunday night’s Season 3 finale was watched by a total of 12.4 million viewers and 8.1 million in the key Adults 18-49 ratings demo. That was a new series high for the popular AMC zombie drama, eclipsing its previous ratings record-breaker of 12.3 million for the February midseason return. That’s up 36% from last year’s season finale.

As noted by TV observers everywhere, “The Walking Dead” is beating every other series this season in the all-important 18-49 demo, including broadcast shows such as “American Idol,” “The Voice” and “Modern Family.”

The suspenseful season finale saw another original cast member bite the dust, along with a wicked twist for “The Governor” and the Woodbury crew. For more, click the link below.
