When “The Walking Dead” returns in October, we’ll be seeing a lot more of at least three supporting players.

Chad Coleman, Sonequa Martin-Green and Emily Kinney have been upgraded to series regular status for Season 4.

Coleman and Martin-Green joined the cast in Season 3, as Tyreese and Sasha, newbies who ended up in Woodbury after crazy-Rick ran them out of the prison when they were seeking refuge. Kinney has been a recurring character, Herschel’s youngest daughter Beth, since Season 2 when we met the family on the farm.

Those three actors join David Morrissey, the villainous Governor, who has also been promoted to a series regular next season.

the third season of “The Walking Dead” wrapped Sunday night with another round of record-setting ratings.
