Bacon then retweeted the compliment to his hundreds of thousands of followers on Monday, many of whom hadn’t had a chance to see the episode yet. The move created a backlash of angry fans of the show.

In penetance, Bacon posted a video of himself stating (over and over), “My Bad.” He then followed it up with another Tweet, writing, “To all the fans abroad and late watchers I’m truly sorry I retweeted a spoiler. I just wasn’t thinking. Won’t happen again. #MyBad.”
