Eggert, 41, was attempting a complicated dive involving multiple back-flips off the high-dive Thursday, when the dive went wrong. Eggert ended up doing a back flop instead, making a hard, painful impact into the water.
According to TMZ, Eggert was pulled out of the “Splash” pool by EMTs and was taken to a nearby hospital for examination.
Luckily, the actress was not seriously injured and was released a few hours later after broken bones and any internal injuries were ruled out.
It’s the latest diving disaster on the show. On Wednesday, former Miss Alabama 2012 Katherine Webb withdrew from the celebrity diving show due to a back injury; Chuy Bravo was forced to bail after breaking his foot; and Kendra Wilkinson quit over failing to conquer her fear of heights.
