On Tuesday night, when the show aired footage of Andy in the “DWTS” parking lot from the night before, the comedian was spotted with a posse of supporters that included Jennifer. She laughed as Andy boogied in the lot and then the pair held hands.
“I was on a date that night with Jennifer Gimenez,” Andy confided to xfinityTV backstage after the show.
When asked if we’d see him on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Andy laughed, “Probably. Because I see Jennifer a lot and now I know Lisa [Vanderpump],” who was eliminated earlier after her stint on “DWTS.” But he also admitted, “I’ve never seen the show.”
Andy and Jennifer, however, have something very important in common. “She’s sober and so am I,” the funnyman said.
“They’ve known each other a long time!” Andy’s pro dancer partner Sharna Burgess said.
In fact, Andy and Jennifer have been friends since both appeared in 2009 on the VH1 reality show “Sober House,” on which she acted as house manager for a group of celebrities recovering from substance abuse, including Andy. The model/actress has become well known to “RHOBH” fans as a close pal of Brandi Glanville. Jennifer has been open about her former substance abuse issues while talking to Brandi, Kim Richards, and the other housewives on the Bravo show.
While his love life seems to be hopping, Andy tied for the lowest score as a celebrity dancer this week and was put in the bottom three, but boxer Victor Ortiz went home instead. With partner Sharna by his side, Andy told reporters on Tuesday, “I think that our fans are pulling us through.”

As xfinityTV previously reported this week, Andy will be doing double duty, rehearsing for “DWTS” while working on a TV pilot for ABC called ‘Divorce, A Love Story.’ “It’s about two couples, one of them is still married and one of them is getting a divorce, but they have a kid and they’re trying to be close,” he elaborated on Tuesday. “I’m [playing] the boss of the two leads.
“It’s based on an Israeli sitcom called ‘Life Isn’t Everything,’ which was a very successful sitcom in Israel. For some weird reason, I’m big in Israel!
“Even though I’m here at ABC on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ I still had to jump through hoops. I had to audition multiple times.”
Meanwhile, Andy and Sharna are set to do the rumba during next week’s Latin round. Sharna promised that she and Andy will recreate one of her all-time favorite dance scenes ever while doing the rumba, the dance of love.
But from the sound of it, Andy already has love in his life.
