Prepare for quadruple the pleasure on “Dancing with the Stars“’ finale show this season. We learned four couples will be dancing for the coveted mirror ball trophy!

In seasons past, three celebrities and their pro partners have traditionally competed in the finals. But in a surprising season 16 twist, producers have changed the rules to include a fourth pair.

Val Chmerkovskiy, who dances with Disney star Zendaya Coleman, spilled the beans, telling Xfinitytv, “I guess they’re going to do four couple final. Good for the fourth couple who’s going to get paid an extra couple of bucks!”

Another pro is also in favor of the move. Derek Hough, who performs with Kellie Pickler, told Xfinitytv after Monday night’s show about the four couple finale. “[Producers] never told us not to say anything [about it]. Honestly, it [means] more dances for the finals. It’s more entertainment for the viewers at home and that’s what it’s all about.”

There are currently seven stars left in the competition, and “Shake it Up” star Zendaya is one of the front runners. But Val said he wouldn’t mind if everybody stayed on the show the entire season! He said, “I thought of a situation doing the show where no one gets eliminated and for ten weeks you have a journey of everybody performing and holding on to everybody’s fans and in the end, you have a ranking system.”

But beyond that, the longtime dance pro was typically blunt, saying, “Listen, I’m not here to be second, third, fourth, fifth, seventh. I’m not here for that. I’m here to win. If there’s four couples in the final…I don’t really care.”
