As die-hard fans of “Dexter” prepare to say goodbye to TV’s favorite serial killer with this summer’s eighth and final season, there’s one looming question.

Is Dexter going to die???

That’s what’s on everyone’s mind after Showtime released the new key art for the final season of “Dexter” — with Michael C. Hall’s face covered in plastic wrap. That’s Dex’s own M.O. for killing the bad guys, lining his kill rooms in plastic wrap and strapping them to a table with clear plastic. Uh oh!

While the details of the final season arc are firmly, eh, under wraps, one thing we do know for sure: Dexter’s sister Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) is REELING from the fall-out of the Season 7 finale…and it looks like she’s turned on her big brother.

Either way, they’re both starting to suffocate from the pressure of trying to keep Dexter’s true identity a secret.
