Fans desperately hoping that that “The Office” could stick around a little bit longer just had their wish granted.

The finale for NBC’s long-running series will indeed last a little longer, 15 minutes longer to be exact. The network has decided to extend the May 16 episode from an hour to 75 minutes, running from 9pm to 10:15pm, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The season finale of “Hannibal” will then run after “The Office” with limited interruption.

The final episode of “The Office” will reportedly take place months after the airing of the documentary about the Dunder Mifflin paper company and will see current and former employees gathering for a wedding and a final round of interviews.

Although Steve Carell is reported to make a cameo in the finale, other names confirmed to guest star will include Mindy Kaling, B.J. Novak, Rachael Harris, Dakota Johnson, Joan Cusack, Ed Begley Jr., Malcolm Barrett, Matt Jones, Andy Buckley, Mike Schur and Bobby Ray Shafer.
