Fox Cancels ‘Touch,’ Brings Back Jack Bauer in ’24’ Revival

Kiefer Sutherland in Touch (FOX)

Needless to say, Kiefer Sutherland’s second series on Fox didn’t fare nearly as well as his first. So, Fox is resolving the problem by bringing back Sutherland as Jack Bauer.

Fox has cancelled Sutherland’s series “Touch” after two seasons, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series originally debuted to much fanfare following the actor’s long run on the network’s “24.”

Now, E! News reports that Sutherland will once again reprise his role on “24,” for a limited run on Fox. Citing sources close to the production, the article states that the limited run of the show – which ended its eight-season run in 2010 – that would play out like a final season of the show.

Last year, there were plans for a “24” movie, but the project got scrapped due to multiple issues including timing and budget.

A Fox spokessperson told E! Online that “We aren’t confirming anything until Monday at our upfront presentation. “

Stay tuned “24” fans!
