There’s another significant exodus brewing over at “Saturday Night Live.”

Newly appointed late-night talk-show host Seth Meyers is not the only cast member leaving the venerable late-night sketch show at the end of this season.

Bill Hader has announced he’s also leaving “SNL” after an eight-year run as a Not Ready for Prime-time Player.

Hader revealed the news Monday to the New York Times.

“It was a hard decision, but it has to happen at some point,” Hader, 34, said in the NYT interview. “It got to a point where I said, ‘Maybe it’s just time to go.’ “

The offbeat comedian’s collection of “SNL” characters and impressions will be greatly missed, but most disconcerting is imagining an “SNL” future in which “Stefon” is not in our lives any more!

Meyers, “SNL’s” head writer and “Weekend Update” anchor, is moving on to replace “SNL” alum Jimmy Fallon as the new host of “Late Night” when Fallon transitions into his new role as “Tonight Show” host next year.

The NYT story says Fred Armisen’s future on the show is also in question, thanks to the success of his popular IFC comedy “Portlandia” and other outside projects. And Jason Sudeikis’ future has been, uh, sketchy, since last season, when it was heavily rumored that he was looking to get out of the “SNL” biz to focus on his movie career.

When executive producer Lorne Michaels was asked if Armisen or Sudeikis had made any decisions about returning to “SNL,” he told the NTY, “I don’t think so. I think they’re making their decisions and we’ll know soon enough.

He added, “I’ve said what I wanted to say to both. You never keep anybody there who doesn’t want to be there, and there is a right time to leave, but it’s more about where they are in their lives.”

This 38th season of “SNL” closes out this weekend, with season finale host Ben Affleck and musical guest Kanye West.
