Want proof that promoting a movie is tiring?
Look no further than this on-camera interview with Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine promoting their upcoming film “Now You See Me.” The interview took place on Wednesday with Fox’s Seattle affiliate.
In the middle of the Q&A, Freeman closes his eyes for a long time, before he leans forward and likely woke himself up. He then seemed to start dozing off several more times.
Finally, once Freeman is finally awake, he answers a question about becoming a good narrator.
“I think probably just being a good reader. That’s all, not much more than that,” the five-time Oscar-nominated actor says, before adding one more important quality, “Having a clear voice.”
Of course, now that the entire interview has gone viral, Freeman has addressed the incident, telling “Entertainment Tonight” that, “I wasn’t actually sleeping. I’m a beta tester for Google Eyelids. I was merely updating my Facebook page.”
