“Melissa and Joey” are about to hit a benchmark.
ABC Family has renewed the series for a fourth season, and has had added more episodes to season three, meaning that the show will be the network’s first-ever comedy to reach 100 episodes.
“One hundred episodes is a great accomplishment for any series, and we are thrilled to give ‘Melissa and Joey’ the opportunity to achieve this milestone, as they’ve delivered hundreds and hundreds of laughs over the seasons,” said Kate Juergens, Executive Vice President, Programming and Development and Chief Creative Officer, ABC Family.
The series stars Melissa Joan Hart, Joey Lawrence, Taylor Spreitler and Nick Robinson, with the upcoming third season featuring guest stars as Sterling Knight, Shannon Elizabeth, Trevor Donovan, Marla Sokoloff, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Jaime Pressly and Doris Roberts, who will be appearing in two episodes as Joe’s grandmother.
Season three will premiere on ABC Family on Wednesday, May 29, from 8:00-8:30pm.
