After suffering ratings slides this past season, “American Idol” is now taking a hit on its live shows.

The “Idol” summer tour is getting scaled back, according to E! News, after the tour’s production company 19 Entertainment has announced that 9 stops were getting cut.

“Idol” champion Candice Glover and 10 other season 13 contestants were initially scheduled to visit 40 different venues, beginning June 29, according to the report. With the shortened schedule, they’ll now perform at only 31 venues and the tour will now begin on July 19.

Meanwhile, the hunt continues for new judges next season, with only Jennifer Hudson now signed on, according to multiple reports, to replace the outgoing Randy Jackson, Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey.
