Andy Cohen was in Cher-adise Thursday night when superstar entertainer and gay icon Cher appeared on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” to promote her new album.
Even luckier for Cohen, Cher never holds back and was happy to dish and tell on her love life, and even talked about dating Tom Cruise in the ’80s.
When Cohen asked the 67-year-old singer who her all-time best lover was, here’s what she said:
“Well, a lot of them kind of came in first,” Cher replied after thinking on it a bit. “I’ve had just the greatest lovers ever,” she smiled.
“Where does Tom Cruise rank on that list?” Andy asked.
“He was in the Top 5,” Cher revealed. She also said Cruise was a “great, lovable guy” but noted he was not yet a Scientologist when the pair were “pretty hot and heavy” for “a little minute.”
“It’s not a long list, it’s just a good list,” Cher added of her list of past lovers.
As for whether or not she’s ever been with a woman, Cher said, “Oh God, who hasn’t? Yeah,” before adding, “I stole a horse when I was 13, you know, so, I mean, why wouldn’t I?”

Cohen also brought up Cher’s penchant for puzzling Tweets during the visit, because as her over 1.5 million followers already know, Cher’s Twitter account is “the most enchanting, must-read item on the Internet,” according to Cohen.
“I have strange sleeping hours,” Cher said of her habit of Tweeting late-night rants and quizzical gems like informing the Twitterverse she celebrated Madonna’s birthday “by getting a colonic.”
“People think I’m demented … my Tweets are sometimes hard to understand,” Cher explained, “and a lot of people go, I don’t know what you are saying, but I love you, so it doesn’t make any difference.”
“I don’t know what I’m doing wrong,” Cher admitted, saying that sometimes she doesn’t know if she’s replying to a Tweet, re-Tweeting, or talking to no one.
“Sometimes you’re randomly talking, and sometimes you are talking to others,” Cohen laughed.
